  • Regular Updates

Possible disadvantages of Diablo

  • Initial Always-Online Requirement
At launch, Diablo III required a constant internet connection, even for single-player mode, which was a significant drawback for players with unreliable internet access. This requirement has since been relaxed somewhat.
  • Repetitive Gameplay
Some players may find the gameplay loop repetitive, as it largely involves hack-and-slash combat and dungeon crawling with constant loot collection.
  • Endgame Content
While Diablo III has improved its endgame over time, some players may still find the endgame content somewhat lacking compared to other action RPGs.
  • Auction House Issues
The auction house, which allowed players to buy and sell in-game items for real money, was controversial and eventually removed due to its negative impact on gameplay.
  • Late Game Difficulty
The gameโ€™s difficulty can spike dramatically in later stages, which might frustrate players who are not adequately prepared or skilled.
  • Lack of Character Customization
Compared to some other RPGs, Diablo III offers limited character customization options, which might disappoint players looking for more personalized avatars.

10 games like Diablo to play while you wait for Diablo 4
Like Grim Dawn, Path of Exile is for the Diablo fan not looking for anything new, but rather a sequel to Diablo 2 that isn't Diablo 3. Better yet, it's entirely free to play, and a laundry list of substantial expansions since its release in 2013 have made Path of Exile a premier choice for Diablo fans looking for an honest-to-goodness isometric ARPG. Like any active game in...

  1. It is a nice mini-blog, it's for free and such but

As a mini-blog, it is a nice alternative for Medium to publish and share information about programming.

However, the community and the organization are biased toward social justice (and they are open to it). You can read its Code of Conduct, it is so vague and politically leads (I prefer a term of service because it defines fair rules for everybody). So it alienates developers that we don't care about politics in pro of people that want to talk about any other topic such as sexuality, how women are unprivileged, and such. It even mandates to use inclusive language. Good grief.

My main complaint is the quality of the community. It is not StackOverflow (so we don't want to ask for an answer here), and most of the top topics are clickbait, such as "how to become a rockstar developer in ... days", "100 tips to become a better programmer" (and it doesn't even talk about programming).

Technically this "mini blog" site allows us to use markdown, and it is okay. However, the whole experience is really basic. Even the template is ugly.

This is the argument I made about small models from a different angle: the same task that costs $14,000/month at frontier scale often costs approximately nothing on a 4B model running on your own hardware.
