Regarding finding solid jobs there might be some alternatives in certain niches, for example: https://ai-jobs.net - for positions in the AI/ML/Data Science space https://infosec-jobs.com - exclusively for Cyber Security/InfoSec folks https://devops-jobs.net - a DevOps-only jobboard https://freshremote.work - provides lots of remote vacancies in all kinds of areas (tech & non-tech). - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Oops - you're right (I made the original post, but not the devops-jobs.net posting nor did I realize it would get cross-posted here automatically). I'll ask them to update the devops-jobs.net posting. Thanks. Source: over 2 years ago
Have a look at https://devops-jobs.net - it's a DevOps-only jobboard. Pretty lean w/ direct links to employers, no nonsense, just tons of SRE/DevOps positions (especially for seniors). Source: almost 3 years ago
We made everything a select/choice field to avoid free-form input in general, except for the salary value of course. The job titles are the ones that are popular on our DevOps job board, just to stay real and not list decades old jobs that practially don’t mean anything and aren’t even hired for anymore. We provide an open API for this too (see https://devops-jobs.net/api/list-job-titles/). - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
Https://devops-jobs.net/ - can help you find pretty interesting, well, jobs in DevOps. The site is simple, fast and comes without any nonsense, only DevOps jobs :). Source: almost 3 years ago
Not all jobs have a salary range. I scrape hundreds of sites for found.dev and in most of the job postings, there is no salary indicated at all. This is specially common in some countries like Germany, where the salary is something you negotiate privately with the employer, without the employer offering you any information about the range first. At the end of March 2021, I decided the project was ready to see the light, so I launched Found.dev. - Source: dev.to / about 3 years ago
The real problem is that I think I'm making the very same mistake now..... I launched a few weeks ago found.dev and I'm offering free subscriptions to companies to post jobs there, and even with the free subscriptions I'm not getting enough users. It might be time to pivot or stop before it's too late .... Source: about 3 years ago
