Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Derrick App 10 features
Objects 5 features
  • Email Finder
Find a prospect's verified professional email from a LinkedIn profile or a name and domain. Billed per email actually found, so an empty result costs nothing.
  • Phone Finder
Find direct and mobile numbers for a contact. Billed per number actually found.
  • Enrich Leads and Companies
Turn a LinkedIn profile or company URL into a full record: role, seniority, location, headcount, industry, and over 100 data points per lead.
  • French Company Data (SIRET, SIREN, NAF)
Enrich French companies from a SIRET, SIREN or company name: identity, activity, directors, headcount and legal records from the public registry. Also imports every company matching a NAF activity code.
  • MCP Server for AI Assistants
Run the same enrichment from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible client. Ask in plain language and get real data back rather than a generated guess.
  • REST API
Wire enrichment into a CRM, a backend or a scheduled job, and into 3000+ tools through Zapier, Make and n8n. One credit balance shared with the spreadsheet and the AI assistant.
  • Buying Signals
Track accounts and leads for job changes, funding rounds, hiring activity and tech-stack moves, and get alerted when a signal fires.
  • List Building from a Prompt
Describe the companies or people you are looking for in one sentence and import the matching records, with industry, country, website and LinkedIn URL.
  • Website and Tech Enrichment
Detect the technologies running on any website, crawl site content, and extract public contact and social profiles.
  • Email Verification and List Cleaning
Verify addresses before a campaign to cut bounces, remove duplicates, split emails into name and domain, and infer likely gender for personalisation.
  • Decentralized Object Storage
Objects.to provides decentralized storage solutions, allowing users to store data across distributed networks rather than relying on a single centralized server, which enhances data resilience and reduces single points of failure.
  • Web3 and Blockchain Integration
The platform is designed with Web3 principles in mind, making it well-suited for developers building decentralized applications (dApps) that need reliable and censorship-resistant storage.
  • Simple API and Developer Experience
Objects.to offers a straightforward API that makes it relatively easy for developers to integrate decentralized storage into their projects without needing deep expertise in the underlying protocols.
  • Content Persistence
Data stored through Objects.to benefits from content-addressable storage mechanisms, helping ensure that files remain available and verifiable over time without risk of link rot or unauthorized modification.
  • Cost-Effective Storage
Compared to traditional cloud storage providers, Objects.to can offer competitive pricing by leveraging decentralized storage networks, potentially reducing costs for developers and businesses storing large amounts of data.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Mainstream Adoption
Objects.to is a relatively niche platform compared to established cloud storage providers like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, which means fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations are available.
  • Performance and Latency Concerns
Decentralized storage can sometimes suffer from higher latency and slower retrieval speeds compared to centralized cloud services that have globally distributed CDNs and optimized infrastructure.
  • Reliability and Uptime Uncertainty
As a smaller and newer platform, Objects.to may not offer the same level of guaranteed uptime and SLAs that enterprise-grade centralized storage providers commit to.
  • Learning Curve for Non-Web3 Developers
Developers unfamiliar with decentralized storage concepts, content addressing, and Web3 paradigms may face a steeper learning curve when adopting Objects.to compared to traditional storage solutions.
  • Limited Documentation and Support
Being a smaller platform, Objects.to may have less comprehensive documentation, fewer support channels, and slower response times for troubleshooting compared to major cloud providers with dedicated support teams.

Overall verdict

  • Objects.to is a niche link-in-bio and personal landing page tool. It appears to offer a minimalist way to consolidate links, but it has limited brand recognition compared to major competitors like Linktree, Bio.link, or Beacons, and detailed independent reviews or long-term reliability data are scarce.

Why this product is good

  • Simple, minimalist interface for creating a single landing page
  • Likely free or low-cost tier for basic use cases
  • Quick setup for consolidating multiple links in one place
  • Lightweight alternative if you dislike bloated link-in-bio tools

Recommended for

  • Individuals wanting a very basic, no-frills link page
  • Users experimenting with alternatives to mainstream link-in-bio services
  • Small creators who don't need advanced analytics or customization
  • Those prioritizing simplicity over extensive design options

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Derrick App and Objects.

What makes your product unique?

Derrick App's answer

Derrick runs the same enrichment engine on three different surfaces, against one shared credit balance.

A Google Sheets sidebar for working a list: enrich hundreds or thousands of rows, see the result column by column, then filter and sort in place.

An MCP server for working inside an AI conversation: ask a question in plain language from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible client and get real data back instead of a guess. Most enrichment tools are only now announcing MCP support. Derrick ships it.

A REST API for working without a human: a CRM, a backend, a scheduled job, or a no-code workflow through Zapier, Make and n8n.

Two other things are unusual. Finder features are billed per result found, so a lookup that returns nothing costs nothing. And Derrick keeps no database of its own: every request queries sources at the moment you ask, so you get the state of the world today rather than a snapshot from a data dump.

French company data is native, not an afterthought: SIRET, SIREN, directors and legal records come straight from the public registry.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Derrick App's answer

Small sales, growth and RevOps teams that build their own prospecting lists, plus the agencies and freelancers who do that work for clients.

Concretely: someone who owns pipeline, works from a spreadsheet or a CRM, and needs contact and company data enriched before an outreach sequence goes out. Usually a founder, an SDR, a growth marketer, a RevOps or ops person, or a lead-gen consultant. Team size is typically under 200 people.

A second and growing group is developers and technical operators, who reach Derrick through the REST API or the MCP server rather than through the spreadsheet, and wire enrichment into a product, a CRM or an automated workflow.

Geographically the base is strongest in France, where the native SIRET and SIREN coverage matters, and extends across Europe and North America for LinkedIn, email and phone enrichment.

What's the story behind your product?

Derrick App's answer

Derrick was founded in 2022 and came out of agency work, not out of a product plan.

Running lead generation for clients meant the same loop every week: build a list, export it, push it through one tool for emails, another for company data, re-import the result, then clean up what did not match. The spreadsheet was where the work actually lived, and every tool wanted to pull the work out of it.

So the first version was built the other way around: bring the enrichment to the spreadsheet instead of moving the list to the enrichment tool. That decision shaped everything after it. When AI assistants became a place where people genuinely do research, the same engine was exposed as an MCP server rather than rebuilt as another chat product. When teams needed it inside their own systems, the same engine was exposed as a REST API.

The other early decision was to store no data. Derrick queries sources at the moment of the request. It costs more per lookup than serving from a warehouse, but the record is current, and there is no stale database to maintain.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Derrick App's answer

Google Apps Script for the Google Sheets add-on, distributed through the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Node.js for the MCP server, published on npm as derrick-mcp and installable with npx, no build step. It loads its tool list dynamically from the API at startup, so new enrichment features appear in AI clients without a server update.

A JSON REST API over HTTPS with API-key authentication, which is the shared foundation all surfaces call.

A JavaScript Chrome extension, used to connect a LinkedIn session for the LinkedIn-based features.

Astro on Cloudflare Pages for the public website.
