Users can define the subject, meaning, style, placement, composition, linework, color, and negative space instead of relying on a general image prompt. The workflow offers four clear starting points: create from text, remix an existing design, convert a photo or sketch, or produce a stencil-style concept. Users can explore more than 20 tattoo styles, generate up to four directions at once, and refine a chosen result with reference images. DermInk also treats every result as a concept for artist collaboration. It helps users communicate an idea clearly while leaving anatomy, scale, technical execution, and final stencil preparation to a professional tattoo artist.

The final tattoo design still remains part of the artist’s professional process.

Most tattoo ideas begin in an awkward gap. The image may feel clear in someone’s head, but it can be difficult to explain with words or scattered reference pictures. DermInk exists to close that gap. It turns personal ideas, photos, and rough sketches into visual concepts that are easier to compare, refine, and discuss with a tattoo artist. The name brings together “derm,” meaning skin, and “ink.” It reflects the product’s purpose: helping an idea move closer to the body while respecting the artist’s role in shaping the final tattoo. DermInk’s guiding principle is simple: Your idea. Your ink.
