DateCalc was built as a side project out of frustration with existing date calculator tools, they were either too slow, required signup, or buried the simple answer under layers of ads and navigation. The goal was simple: build the fastest, cleanest date calculator on the internet that just works. Built in a week using Next.js and deployed on Vercel, it launched in April 2026 and covers the 8 most common date calculation needs people search for daily.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

DateCalc.xyz's answer

Next.js 14 (App Router), React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, date-fns library, deployed on Vercel. Fully static/SSR, no database, no backend, no authentication system.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

DateCalc.xyz's answer

DateCalc is a free tool with no paid customers; it serves anyone who visits. Current users include students, working professionals, HR teams, and general internet users who find it through Google search. Monetization is through Google AdSense.
