What makes your product unique?

mydash.cv's answer

Dashboard Manager (MyDash) stands out as a multilingual HR and team management platform built specifically for small and medium-sized businesses that need powerful features without the complexity or cost of enterprise systems.

Unlike many HR tools that focus on one language or region, Dashboard Manager is available in English, German, and Arabic, making it ideal for diverse, international teams. It combines task management, leave tracking, reporting, file sharing, and team communication in a single, intuitive platform โ€“ no installations, no steep learning curve.

This all-in-one, cross-language approach allows businesses to streamline workflows, improve transparency, and boost productivity without having to juggle multiple apps.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

mydash.cv's answer

Dashboard Manager (MyDash) offers the simplicity, affordability, and multilingual support that many competitors overlook. While other HR platforms can be expensive, complex, or limited to one language, Dashboard Manager is designed for small and medium-sized businesses that need powerful features without enterprise-level overhead.

It brings HR management, task tracking, reporting, file sharing, and communication into one easy-to-use platform, available in English, German, and Arabic. This combination makes it perfect for diverse teams and international operations, helping businesses save time, cut costs, and stay organized without switching between multiple tools.

How would you describe your primary audience?

mydash.cv's answer

Our primary audience is small and medium-sized businesses that need a simple, affordable way to manage their teams and HR processes without the complexity of enterprise systems.

We focus on companies with diverse or multilingual teams โ€“ especially those operating in English, German, and Arabic โ€“ who want to streamline task management, leave tracking, reporting, and communication in one platform. This includes startups, growing companies, and established businesses looking to replace scattered tools with a unified, easy-to-use solution.

What's the story behind your product?

mydash.cv's answer

Dashboard Manager (MyDash) began as a personal project to solve a real frustration: small and medium-sized businesses often struggle with scattered tools for HR, task management, and communication. Many existing platforms were either too expensive, too complex, or limited to a single language.

Seeing this gap, I set out to create an all-in-one, multilingual solution that works seamlessly for teams across different regions. From the very start, I built it to support English, German, and Arabic, making it accessible to companies that operate internationally or have diverse workforces.

What started as a simple dashboard has grown into a platform that helps businesses organize tasks, track leave, share files, and communicate efficiently โ€” without the learning curve or high costs of traditional HR systems.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

mydash.cv's answer

Dashboard Manager (MyDash) is built primarily with: โ€ข PHP โ€“ for the backend logic and server-side processing โ€ข MySQL โ€“ for secure and efficient database management โ€ข JavaScript (with jQuery) โ€“ for dynamic, interactive UI components โ€ข HTML5 & CSS3 โ€“ for structure and responsive design โ€ข Bootstrap โ€“ to ensure mobile-friendly layouts โ€ข Apache/Nginx โ€“ as the web server environment

This stack was chosen for its stability, scalability, and broad hosting compatibility, making it easy to maintain and deploy for businesses of different sizes.

  • Ask HN: Does your team pay for any Slack apps or integrations?
Hey HN! I am asking out of genuine curiosity, and perhaps doing a little market research. My team uses https://www.donut.com/ and https://officevibe.com/ but I'm pretty sure we're on the free tier for both. Do you work in a team that pays monthly for any cool Slack apps or integrations? Which ones? If you're not the one paying, do you find it useful - or annoying? Cheers! - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Announcing Courier Automations: Application Logic for Notifications
Officevibe, which is an employee experience platform, regularly sends out Slack notifications on behalf of their customers asking employees to complete a brief survey. Their engineering team utilizes the Automations API to create lists of users for whom the Slack survey could not be delivered and send them an email survey instead. - Source: dev.to / over 3 years ago
