Must App
Curatimo is a TV series tracking and recommendation app built for groups - friends, coworkers, or family - who already swap recommendations informally and want one place to do it properly.
Most streaming platforms have a recommendation problem: they surface what's popular, what's new, or what keeps you watching longest. But none of that tells you whether you will like it - and none of it takes into account what the people around you actually think.
Curatimo starts from a different premise. You rate the series you've watched. You create or join as many groups as you like - one for your coworkers, one for your friends, one for your family. And Curatimo builds a Next Watch list that combines your own taste history with what your groups are rating and what's trending in a way that fits you - giving you a shortlist you can actually act on. No endless browsing. No decision paralysis.
It's also genuinely fun to use. Groups show you what everyone's watching, which shows are trending in your circle, and how your taste compares to the people around you. That conversation you've been having over lunch - "have you seen that show?" - now has a home. You can see who your closest taste matches are, spot who always recommends something you end up loving, and settle debates about whether a new series is actually worth starting.
The result: less time staring at a streaming platform wondering what to pick, more time actually watching something good.
All about the TV Shows, Anime and Movies: trailers, photos, screenshots, screencaps, wallpapers, comments, TV ratings. Free open REST API for developers.

Curatimo's answer
Curatimo cuts through the noise by surfacing the right show for you โ not hundreds to scroll through. It combines signals from people you trust, your own taste history, and general trends to recommend what you should actually watch next. The result is a personal Next Watch list that feels like a recommendation from a friend who really knows you, not a generic platform chasing watch time.
Curatimo's answer
Most platforms throw hundreds of options at you and call it a recommendation. Curatimo does the opposite โ it curates the right show for you, based on what the people in your group are rating, your own taste patterns, and what's trending in a way that matches your preferences. Less browsing. More watching.
Curatimo's answer
Curatimo is built as a modern progressive web app (PWA), with a React frontend, a Node.js/PostgreSQL backend, and cloud infrastructure for media and analytics.
Curatimo's answer
People who take their viewing seriously: the ones with an ever-growing watchlist, a go-to person they always ask before starting a new series, and a frustration with spending more time browsing than actually watching. They're typically in small social clusters โ coworker groups, friend circles, families โ who already share recommendations informally and want one place to do it properly.
Curatimo's answer
Curatimo was built to solve "The Sunday Night Desert" โ that familiar feeling of staring at a streaming platform, overwhelmed by choice, and picking nothing. The founders believed the problem isn't a lack of content; it's a lack of curation. So they built a platform that combines the taste of people you trust, your own viewing history, and broader trends to do the hard work for you โ and hand you a shortlist you can actually act on.
To Be honest, after few weeks of using SIMKL. I discovered soo many amazing features, it literally had features from 5-15 different websites all packed together in one and amazing browser extension and mobile app interface as well!
Based on our record, Simkl seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 46 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

Yes, we got. Move to another track service. I'm trying https://simkl.com/ for now. TvTime is kinda joke now. Not working for a week, support doesn't respond. Source: over 3 years ago
I kinda gave up on TVTime a few days ago and went to https://simkl.com. Kinda like it so far. You can import your TVTime stuff (you have to send an email to TVTime but they responded within an hour so don't let that put you down). It's way more up to date and responsive! Source: over 3 years ago
