TypeScript end to end, in a pnpm and Turborepo monorepo.

The less obvious choice is Effect-TS. It is a heavier thing to learn than plain async/await, and the payoff is that money-handling paths carry their failure cases in the type signature instead of in someone's memory.

One member list underneath everything. The community, the shop, the memberships, the courses, the bookings and the livestreams all run off the same record, so somebody who buys a course today was already in the room yesterday instead of becoming a fresh row in a second tool. Most all-in-one platforms are a suite of separate products sharing a login; the shared member list is the part that actually removes work.

The fee structure is the other half of it. The platform fee starts at 6% on the free plan and falls to 3% and then 0% on the paid plans, so it drops as a creator grows rather than climbing with their earnings. Payments and payouts run through Stripe Connect, and Creator plans and above get a custom domain with a matching email sender identity, so the audience sits somewhere the creator controls.

Because the realistic alternative to one owned Space is usually five subscriptions plus a person acting as the sync layer between them. That person is normally the creator, and the work is invisible until you add it up.

It is worth being equally clear about when not to choose it. Selling a single ebook? A Gumroad or Payhip link is simpler and we would tell you so. Need a proper LMS with quizzes, certificates, drip scheduling and progress tracking? Kajabi and Thinkific are genuinely deeper there, and our courses are deliberately shallow by comparison. Only need scheduling? Cal.com does that one job better than we do. Want the biggest built-in audience to discover you? Patreon and Substack have distribution we do not.

Creators running an actual business rather than chasing an audience. Usually one person, sometimes a small team, already earning from some mix of memberships, digital products, a paid community, coaching or bookings, and livestreams, with each of those living in a different tool.

The clearest signal is somebody who can name five monthly subscriptions off the top of their head and admits none of them talk to each other. The second signal is somebody who has been burned by a platform changing its rules, and now cares about owning the domain and the member list.

Who it suits less well: a hobbyist with one product and no community, who is better served by a simple checkout link, and larger organisations wanting deep LMS or enterprise ecommerce, where the specialists are stronger.

Roughly two years of building, by one founder, in the UK under CHARLEE X LTD.

It started from watching how much unpaid admin sits in the gaps between a creator's tools. Every platform solves its own slice well and then quietly hands you the joins: export a list here, reconcile a payout there, answer someone in one app about something they bought in another. None of that work shows up on a pricing page, and it never stops.

The bet is that consolidation is worth more to most creators than any individual feature, as long as they own the result rather than renting it. That is also why the comparison pages at dukiex.com/vs say openly where a competitor is the better choice. Comparison shoppers can smell spin, and a platform arguing it wins at everything is not a platform worth trusting with your income.
