Where are you at? I typically order online from small roasters or pick up from local roasters. There are also subscription services like crema.co which offer freshly roasted coffee from many different roasters. Source: over 3 years ago
  • The simple joy of coffee
Pour over is a lovely way to make coffee with light roasts. You can still save even with buying premium roasts. In our coffee e-commerce pursuits, we found a wonderful platform crema.co. It allows you to create a playlist and ship when you want. Not sure if Drink Coffee Do Stuff ships to Canada, but if they do definitely give them a try. • Beginner espresso machine?
I usually buy coffee beans as I've got a grinder, but I've also bought ground coffee for my Breville. I think that if the ground coffee is good quality it should be ok. I've used Illy ground coffee, but I'm sure you can buy some good ground coffee from a coffee roaster online and having it sent to your home. You could try a subscription with Crema : https://crema.co/. Source: almost 5 years ago
  • Beginner espresso recommendations
If there is a dearth of local roasters, subscribe to a coffee subscription service like crema.co (there are many others. I have no relationship to crema) that will mail you freshly roasted beans from all over the country. Source: about 5 years ago
