Approximately 3 years ago I started doing a front-end development course on teamtreehouse.com wich was pretty good but was like 20 dollars a month.( so I dont really recommend it ) quite expensive. This got me an internship at a friends company. Wich I did for 1 year ( I did some front end stuff but mostly wordpress developing there wich wasnt really my thing but at least I had some tech related development stuff... Source: 12 months ago
I used to learn from Treehouse (https://teamtreehouse.com/). Has a lot of the basics on it. Though it does cost $25 a month, it is definitely worth it. If I had more time, I would still be using them. Source: about 1 year ago
