CodeMonkey was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Schor, Ido Schor, and Yishai Pinchover, inspired by their experiences teaching kids to code through playful activities. They envisioned a platform that would make coding accessible and enjoyable for children, blending real programming languages with engaging, game-based learning. Launched in Israel, CodeMonkey quickly gained global traction, reaching over 34 million students in 206 countries by 2024 .
