SaaStore is a marketplace built for independent developers and small teams - a home for the software you make, not a big-tech platform.
We help you reach buyers who are actively searching for tools like yours: category placement, search visibility, and no commission on sales - you keep your own checkout.
Every listing is also hand-reviewed and carries an independent security scan, so buyers can trust what they find.
Software you can finally trust and afford.
Codewars
SaaStoreCodewars is recommended for beginner to advanced programmers who enjoy learning through practice and are interested in improving their algorithmic thinking and coding skills in a gamified environment. It is particularly beneficial for those preparing for coding interviews or seeking to reinforce their programming knowledge in a fun and interactive way.
The scarce thing in software stopped being the ability to build and became the judgement to build the right thing โ and then to be found at all. SaaStore audits products before listing them, which is the only thing that makes a directory worth reading. I got a genuine security and UX report back, not just a listing form. Small catalog, high bar.
I used SaaStore to find software from independent builders, and what stood out to me was the extra layer of trust around the products. It does not feel like just another directory where anyone can list anything. The products are presented with clearer information, trust signals, and checks that make it easier to decide whether a tool is worth trying.
Based on our record, Codewars seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 160 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Recently, I was working on a coding kata on codewars.com. Early on, I started thinking that a potential solution might utilize recursion, a concept that involves a function calling itself. However, I quickly realized that my grasp of recursion was not as solid as it needed to be for this task. In this post, I will share the insights gained from deepening my understanding of recursion while working through the kata. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Get more involved. Look into internships and junior SWE positions to get a sample of what you'd be applying for once you graduate. Solve coding challenges, start working on a portfolio of your personal works. I recommend codewars.com for coding challenges, it's fun. Source: over 2 years ago
I'd recommend to play around with some basic coding challenges on leetcode.com or codewars.com. If the course prepared you well you won't find this useful, but playing around with them will make sure that you are comfortable with basics such as loops, if statements etc. Source: about 3 years ago
I would advise for you to start with Python, it's a beginner-friendly programming language and it'll help with wrapping your mind around things. Play around with it, perhaps do some katas on CodeWars and you'll be set. Source: about 3 years ago
There is a website called codewars.com where you can select problems of varying difficulty for the language you need. It is very helpful for learning. Source: about 3 years ago
