CVFormatter's answer:
CVFormatter was born from a simple insight we uncovered after interviewing more than 50 recruiters across 10+ industries in 2023: everyone was wasting hours every week fixing resumes. Not selling. Not sourcing. Not placing. Fixing Word documents MANUALLY. We set out to solve it — and built a formatting engine that empowers recruiting teams of all sizes.
CVFormatter's answer:
CVFormatter serves a wide range of recruitment organisations globally — from fast-growing boutique agencies to large, multi-office staffing firms. Our customer base includes:
Mid-sized and large recruitment agencies processing thousands of CVs per year Specialist staffing firms in tech, healthcare, finance, engineering, and professional services IT consulting companies that submit consultant profiles to enterprise clients Executive search firms that require polished, high-impact CV presentations RPO teams supporting global employers with high-volume hiring needs
While we do not publicly disclose specific client names due to confidentiality, 70% of our customers are staffing and recruitment agencies, including teams that handle 130–1,800+ CVs per month across multiple countries.
These organisations choose CVFormatter for its accuracy, branding consistency, and recruitment-centric automation — and many continue to scale their usage as their teams grow.
CVFormatter's answer:
What makes CVFormatter unique isn’t just the AI or the automation — it’s that the product was built backwards, starting from the recruiter’s pain, not the technology. Every feature exists because a real recruiter asked for it: branded and unique templates, anonymisation, ultra-accurate parsing, team collaboration without per-seat fees, pay-as-you-go and subscription plans, even unlimited template tweaks during trials.
While others repurpose generic AI tools, we built CVFormatter as a specialised engine for recruitment workflows — a tool that understands the messy, inconsistent, real-world CVs recruiters deal with every day, and turns them into clean, client-ready documents in seconds.
From solo consultants to global staffing firms, teams choose CVFormatter because it doesn’t just format resumes. It gives recruiters their time back. And in recruitment, time wins placements.
CVFormatter's answer:
CVFormatter is built specifically for recruitment professionals who handle high volumes of resumes and need fast, consistent, client-ready CVs. Our primary audience includes:
Recruitment Agencies From boutique firms to large staffing companies, these teams rely on CVFormatter to eliminate manual resume cleanup, standardise branding, and speed up submissions.
Staffing & Temp Agencies High-volume environments where consultants process hundreds of resumes monthly and need reliable automation to keep up.
Executive Search & Headhunting Firms Teams that require polished, branded CVs that reflect their premium services.
IT & Tech Consulting Companies Firms sending consultant profiles or CVs to clients for projects, RFPs, and placements.
RPO & Talent Outsourcing Teams Groups managing multiple client brands who need flexible templates and consistency across accounts.
Who we’re not built for: CVFormatter isn’t a job seeker tool — it’s purpose-built for teams who submit CVs to clients, not employers.
CVFormatter's answer:
Most resume tools were built for job seekers, or a one-size-fits-all solution for recruitment teams. CVFormatter wasn’t.
It was built exclusively for recruiters — after listening to more than 100 of them across 20+ industries describe how resume formatting was silently draining hours of their week and slowing down placements.
That’s why CVFormatter stands apart: every feature is designed around real recruitment workflows, not generic AI guesswork.
While competitors often focus on template prettiness, CVFormatter focuses on impact:
✔ We save recruiters 70–90% of formatting time. Teams go from spending 10–30 minutes fixing a single CV to generating a polished, branded version in seconds. Speed isn’t a nice-to-have in recruitment — it wins clients and placements.
✔ We deliver unmatched parsing accuracy. Our 98%+ resume parsing accuracy means recruiters aren’t stuck correcting job titles, dates, or experience sections — a common pain with other tools. Clean input means clean output.
✔ We support real-world resume chaos. PDFs. Scans. Photos of CVs. LinkedIn URLs. Multi-page documents. CVFormatter handles them all — because that’s what real recruiters receive from candidates every day.
✔ We strengthen your agency brand with intentional design. We build agency-tailored templates that reflect your identity and consistency. Every CV your team sends looks like it came from one unified, professional organisation — not a patchwork of Word documents.
✔ We include the features recruiters actually ask for: AI-powered summarisation, proofreading, and translation Candidate anonymisation for unbiased submissions Resume storage + usage reports Multi-template switch with one click DOCX + PDF output Unlimited team members without per-seat fees
Competitors often add layers of fees or restrict collaboration. We remove barriers — because recruiters work in teams, not as isolated individuals. ✔ We empower teams of all sizes — not just enterprise budgets. From solo consultants to 100-person agencies, anyone can access enterprise-grade automation without expensive seat licences. This levels the playing field and lets smaller teams compete with larger firms.
✔ We focus on recruitment automation, not generic AI. Every improvement targets a recruiter pain point: speed-to-client, consistency, branding, candidate data protection, and workflow efficiency.
CVFormatter isn’t “AI for resumes.” It’s AI that accelerates the entire recruitment workflow.

Recently, I was working on a coding kata on codewars.com. Early on, I started thinking that a potential solution might utilize recursion, a concept that involves a function calling itself. However, I quickly realized that my grasp of recursion was not as solid as it needed to be for this task. In this post, I will share the insights gained from deepening my understanding of recursion while working through the kata. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
Get more involved. Look into internships and junior SWE positions to get a sample of what you'd be applying for once you graduate. Solve coding challenges, start working on a portfolio of your personal works. I recommend codewars.com for coding challenges, it's fun. Source: over 2 years ago
I'd recommend to play around with some basic coding challenges on leetcode.com or codewars.com. If the course prepared you well you won't find this useful, but playing around with them will make sure that you are comfortable with basics such as loops, if statements etc. Source: about 3 years ago
I would advise for you to start with Python, it's a beginner-friendly programming language and it'll help with wrapping your mind around things. Play around with it, perhaps do some katas on CodeWars and you'll be set. Source: about 3 years ago
