Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Codewars and Bota.

What makes your product unique?

Bota's answer:

Most chatbots answer questions. Bota books. It's the only AI agent built only for car rental that works on WhatsApp, phone and web chat at once, reads your real availability and rates, and writes the confirmed booking into your reservation system.

  • It transacts: quotes, confirms and cancels in your system — not just FAQs.
  • Voice included: it answers the phone and books by voice, no menus or "press 1".
  • Connects, doesn't replace: it sells with the RMS you already use.
  • Pay per booking: it only charges when it actually sells.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Bota's answer:

Generic chatbots and most car-rental AI tools stop at answering or capturing a lead. Bota completes the booking end to end, on every channel, with your live availability and rates — so the conversation ends in a confirmed reservation, not a handoff. It's the same agent on WhatsApp, phone and web, it hands over to your team with full context when a person is needed, and its pricing is tied to results: free up to 6 bookings a month, then 1.9% per booking, with no fixed fee or lock-in.

What's the story behind your product?

Bota's answer:

Car rentals are sold in conversations — on WhatsApp and over the phone — but those channels were still handled by people or by bots that could only answer, never book. Bota was built to close that gap: an AI agent that actually transacts inside the reservation system, on the channels customers already use, and that learns the specifics of the car rental industry rather than relying on a written prompt.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Bota's answer:

Bota is a cloud-based SaaS. It combines large language models with deep integrations into car rental reservation systems, the WhatsApp Business platform, real-time voice/telephony and website chat. It's API-first, with a documented standard API and an MCP server so any reservation system or developer tool can connect.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Bota's answer:

Car rental companies of every size, from a single office to multi-brand groups with dozens of locations. It's especially valuable for operators with high call and message volume — airports, tourism, urban and off-site delivery — who lose bookings after hours, when the counter is busy, or in languages their team doesn't cover.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?
