How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Markify Feedback's answer:

Freelance web designers and developers, small studios and agencies, and marketers who collect feedback from clients who will not install software. It is also used by people who simply want to annotate a PDF or a web page quickly without creating an account.

What makes your product unique?

Markify Feedback's answer:

Most feedback tools require the person giving feedback to sign up, install an extension, or be invited to a project. Markify needs none of that — you share one link and they comment straight on the page in their browser. You can also create your first canvas without an account yourself, so there is nothing to set up before you see whether it works. It handles live websites, PDFs, Word documents and images in the same tool, so you are not switching products depending on what you need reviewed.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Most tools in this category are built for agency teams — per-seat pricing, project boards, integrations, onboarding. Markify is built for the single moment where someone needs to point at a thing on a page and say what is wrong with it. Paste a URL or upload a file, drop pins, send the link. There is a free tier, and Pro is $15/month, which is below most of the category. If you need Kanban boards and developer handoff workflows, use BugHerd or Marker.io. If you need feedback on a page today without making anyone sign up, use Markify.

What's the story behind your product?

Markify Feedback's answer:

It came out of the same frustration every freelancer has: client feedback arrives as an email saying "the blue button near the top feels too big", and you spend the next two messages working out which button they mean. Screenshots get marked up in one tool, comments live in another, and half of it is lost in a thread. Markify keeps the comment attached to the thing it is about. It is built and run by one person in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Markify Feedback's answer:

Next.js and React with TypeScript, deployed on Vercel. Supabase provides Postgres, authentication and file storage. PDFs are rendered client-side with pdf.js, and live websites are captured with a headless browser.
