CodePrettify began as a personal tool built by FixQuotes after repeated frustration with slow or unreliable beautifier websites and the privacy risk of pasting internal payloads into third-party services. It first focused on turning raw JSON, JavaScript, CSS, and RSS responses into readable browser tabs, then grew from real workflow needs into a Chrome and Edge extension and Windows app with repair, comparison, generation, inspection, and playground tools.
