Wimemo started from a common frustration: after every trip, the photos stay in the camera roll, but the trip slowly disappears. A journey is more than a folder of images. It has places, routes, companions, notes, memories, and future meaning. Wimemo was created to turn travel photos into a private memory system, beginning with a map of where life happened. The long-term vision is to build an AI-native travel memory system that connects the whole lifecycle of a trip: the idea, the plan, the journey, and the memories that remain years later.
