About CodeinCloud and Roomellow

CodeinCloud
Roomellow

No description of CodeinCloud yet.

Online furniture shopping is broken. Customers can't tell if a sofa will fit their living room, if a rug will clash with their floors, or if a lamp will work next to their existing chair. The result: returns that cost retailers money, and sales that never happen because shoppers don't trust what...

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CodeinCloud and Roomellow.

What makes your product unique?

Roomellow's answer:

Roomellow is built specifically for furniture retailers. Every product in the generated room is a real SKU from a partner's catalog — no AI hallucinations, no fake products. This lets retailers turn visualization directly into purchase, while giving shoppers confidence that what they see is what they can buy.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Roomellow's answer:

Most AI room designers either use generic furniture (you can't actually buy what you see) or only target end consumers. Roomellow does both: shoppers see beautiful, photorealistic redesigns of their actual room, AND every piece is a real, purchasable product from a retailer's catalog. The result: higher conversions for retailers and confident purchases for shoppers.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Roomellow's answer:

Two audiences: (1) Furniture retailers — online stores looking to drive conversions, reduce returns, and increase average order value through immersive visualization. (2) Furniture shoppers — anyone buying furniture online who wants to see how items will look in their actual space before committing.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Roomellow's answer:

Modern web stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind on the frontend; Python on the backend) paired with a proprietary AI pipeline that combines generative image models, computer vision, and semantic search. Deployed on production-grade cloud infrastructure with a global CDN.

What's the story behind your product?

Roomellow's answer:

Roomellow started when I bought my first house about a year and a half ago. I was shopping for furniture and felt completely overwhelmed — even when I found pieces I liked in store, I'd second-guess my decision before I even got to the parking lot. Would it fit? Would it match the rest of the room? I'd already ordered and returned furniture before, and I knew how painful and expensive that cycle is.

The frustrating part: the stores I was shopping at had nothing to help me. No way to see how a piece would look in my actual space. Sales associates would just say "take some time, think about it" — leaving me alone with the doubt that ultimately killed the sale.

I realized this isn't just my problem. Furniture returns are a massive cost for retailers, and decision paralysis kills conversions every day. So I built Roomellow as a win-win: shoppers see how products look in their actual room before buying — gaining the confidence to commit — and retailers convert more browsers into confident buyers, with fewer returns down the line.
