What makes your product unique?

Phoxel is a photo studio, not a photo editor. You upload a few ordinary phone shots, pick the pack that matches what you're photographing — product, food, jewelry, vehicle, clothing, pet, interior or portrait — and get a set of finished, publish-ready images back, usually in a minute or two. There is no model training step and no subscription: credits are bought in packs, never expire, and are only spent on a photo that actually gets delivered.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Most AI photo tools are either a background remover for a single product shot or a portrait generator that needs a training run and a monthly plan. Phoxel covers everything a small business actually photographs — listings, menus, vehicles, rooms, pets, headshots — in one place, with a dedicated style set per niche and guides tied to the real image rules of Amazon, Etsy and Airbnb. Pricing is pay-as-you-go from $0.16 a photo, credits never expire, failed generations are retried for free, and unused credits can be refunded.

What's the story behind your product?

Phoxel grew out of the same idea as our first product, Speecho: take a step that quietly costs people money and time, and make it cheap enough to stop thinking about. Good product, food and property photos normally mean a studio or a photographer, which nobody with twenty listings is going to book. So we built the shortcut — phone photos in, studio-grade photos out, paid per photo instead of per month — and shipped a purpose-built pack for each niche rather than one generic "AI image" box.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Phoxel.app's answer:

Small sellers and owner-operators who need publishable photos but can't justify a photo shoot: e-commerce and marketplace sellers, restaurants and delivery kitchens, car dealers and private sellers, real-estate agents and Airbnb hosts, groomers and pet owners, and anyone who needs a decent portrait for LinkedIn, a dating profile or a gift. It also covers people restoring or colorizing old family prints.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Phoxel.app's answer:

The app is React 19 + Vite and the marketing site is Astro, both hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The API is Hono on Node 22 running on Railway, with PostgreSQL on Neon. Generation runs on hosted AI image models. Payments go through Paddle as merchant of record, transactional email through Resend, and error tracking through Sentry.
