What makes your product unique?

Owlydoo's answer:

Most personalized children's books swap a name and hair colour into a story someone else wrote. Owlydoo starts from the child's own idea instead. You describe the hero (from a photo or in words) and build the plot together, and Owlydoo writes and illustrates the whole book in minutes, keeping the character consistent on every page. You review and edit everything before it's final. The finished book comes with AI audio narration, downloads as a PDF, and can be professionally printed and delivered. Books can be made in any language.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Owlydoo's answer:

Three reasons. The story is genuinely yours, not a template with a name inserted, but a plot you and your child decide on together. You keep control: every page of text and artwork can be edited before anything is finalized or printed. There's no subscription and nothing to commit to before you've seen what you're getting. Any language is supported, including bilingual stories, which most personalized book services don't offer.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Owlydoo's answer:

Parents, grandparents and gift-givers making a book for a child aged 2–12. Primary markets are Germany, Portugal and English-speaking countries, though books can be created in any language. Common uses are birthdays and bedtime, bilingual reading practice, recording family stories, and helping a child through a change like a house move or a first day at school.

What's the story behind your product?

Owlydoo's answer:

Owlydoo was founded in Lisbon in 2025 by a team of four, led by two women founders. The idea came from a simple observation: children have vivid, specific ideas about the stories they want, and existing personalized books ignore them entirely as they let you change a name, not a plot. Owlydoo was built to start from the child's imagination and end with a real book on a shelf.
