There is relatively little publicly available detail about the platform's specific features, pricing, and reliability, making it harder to evaluate thoroughly.
  • Data privacy concerns
Storing code and projects on a third-party cloud raises potential security and privacy considerations, especially for sensitive or proprietary projects.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CodeinCloud and GoAskSam.

What makes your product unique?

GoAskSam's answer:

GoAskSam recommends where to sell a car based on real sold-auction data, not opinion or guesswork, and no platform or PowerSeller can pay to influence the recommendation. It compares actual sales across platforms like Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, and Hagerty, factoring in platform performance, timing, and specialist track records, then tells the seller exactly why it picked what it picked. A conversational AI interface makes it easy to describe your car, but the recommendation itself comes from a proprietary decision engine built on real data, never from AI.

What's the story behind your product?

GoAskSam's answer:

After three years of publishing The Daily Vroom, a daily newsletter covering the collector car auction market, readers kept asking the same question: "I've got this car, where should I sell it?" GoAskSam was built to answer that question with real data instead of opinion, drawing on the market knowledge and sales data accumulated from tracking the industry every day.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

GoAskSam's answer:

Most tools that tell you where to sell a car have a financial stake in the answer, an auction house recommending itself, a marketplace recommending itself. GoAskSam has no horse in the race: it's free, and the platforms and specialist sellers it can recommend never pay for inclusion or placement. It's built by a team that has covered the collector car market daily for three years, so the recommendations are grounded in real market knowledge, not a generic algorithm.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

GoAskSam's answer:

Owners of collector, enthusiast, and specialty vehicles trying to decide where and how to sell, from a modest project car to a serious collector piece. Many come from The Daily Vroom's existing newsletter audience of collectors, dealers, and industry professionals.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

GoAskSam's answer:

GoAskSam is newly launched and free to use, so there isn't a customer list to share yet, it's an open tool available to any car seller who visits GoAskSam.com.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

GoAskSam's answer:

A proprietary, rules-based decision engine built in-house, paired with a conversational AI layer that makes it easy to describe a car. The recommendation itself is never generated by AI, only the conversation is.
