It keeps the original resolution where possible, adds no watermark of its own to your output, supports the common image and video formats, and states the limits of each tool on the page instead of after you pay.

erase.tools puts AI cleanup tools and private, browser-based utilities in one place. You can remove a watermark from a photo or a video, remove text from an image, remove captions and burned-in subtitles, remove the background from an image, and remove objects or people from a photo — each on its own page, with no editor to learn. The AI tools rebuild the selected area from the pixels around it. They do not hide the area with blur and they do not crop the image. The convert, blur, pixelate and censor tools (HEIC to JPG, WebP to PNG, WebP to JPG, blur a face, blur text in an image, pixelate an image) run fully in the browser, so those files never leave your device.

erase.tools started with a simple idea: to remove one unwanted thing from an image or a video should not need a complex editor. The most-searched requests — "remove watermark from photo", "remove text from image", "remove object from photo" — usually lead to a large design suite, a lower-quality export, or a watermark on the result. erase.tools was built as a set of focused tools that each do one job in as few steps as possible. It began with the AI removal tools and grew to include private, browser-based image conversion, blur, pixelate and censor utilities.
