How to use Algoright AI on YouTube!
As answered by people managing CodeinCloud and Algoright AI.
Algoright AI's answer:
Algoright AI reads what's actually in your feed — video titles, channel, metadata — and sorts it into one of 35 categories in real time, rather than just blocking a handful of keywords or whole sites. That means it can tell the difference between a clickbait Short and a genuine tutorial, and filter accordingly. It also runs local-first: filtering itself happens in the browser, and only the classification step touches our AI backend (with a fully offline, no-data-leaves-your-browser mode available too).
Algoright AI's answer:
Algoright AI started from a simple frustration: existing "focus" extensions were all-or-nothing — block the whole site or block nothing — while the actual problem is a specific kind of content (Shorts, clickbait, outrage bait), not the platform itself. So instead of a blunt site blocker, Algoright classifies what's actually in your feed and lets you filter by content type, so you can still use YouTube for the video you came for without falling into the recommended-video rabbit hole.
Algoright AI's answer:
Most focus/blocker extensions work at the site level — block YouTube entirely, or block nothing. Algoright works at the content level across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X: hide Shorts and Reels specifically, hide clickbait thumbnails, hide comments, or lock into a single category (like "Learning") during a Deep Work session — while everything else on the same site stays usable. It's also free to start on YouTube with no card required, so you can try the actual filtering before paying for anything.
Algoright AI's answer:
People who want to keep using YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X without the endless-scroll trap — students and remote workers protecting deep-work time, and anyone who's decided their feed shouldn't get to pick what they watch next.
Algoright AI's answer:
A Chrome/Edge browser extension (Manifest V3) for the in-page filtering, a Next.js web dashboard for account, analytics and settings, Supabase for data/sync, Clerk for auth, Stripe for billing, and Groq for the AI content classification.
Algoright AI's answer:
Algoright AI is currently used by individual students and professionals rather than named enterprise customers — company & team focus controls are coming soon to Pro
