LocalTime.club's answer:
What sets LocalTime apart is that it uniquely combines three essential features into a single, lightweight utility: local time conversion, global trading session overlays, and custom horizontal price grids. Unlike many competitor tools that charge fees or require complex registrations, LocalTime provides all these features completely for free while running natively and smoothly on both MT4 and MT5.
LocalTime.club's answer:
Many competitor tools require paid subscriptions or complex registrations for basic features like session highlights and local time conversion. LocalTime by Forex FanClub stands out because it offers a premium, all-in-one solution completely for free. It elegantly combines local time display, trading session overlays, and customizable price grids into a single, lightweight indicator that won't slow down your MT4 or MT5 platform.

LocalTime.club's answer:
The primary audience for LocalTime by Forex FanClub consists of retail forex traders, day traders, and technical analysts using MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. It is specifically designed for traders who struggle with the confusing time differences between their broker server and their actual local time. These traders rely on precise timing for session opens, news events, and daily closes, making this utility essential for their daily trading routine.
LocalTime.club's answer:
The story behind LocalTime by Forex FanClub started from our own daily frustrations as active traders. We constantly found ourselves struggling to calculate the difference between our broker server time and our actual local time. This made it difficult to accurately track daily candle closes and coordinate our trades with major market sessions like London and New York. When we searched for a simple indicator to solve this, most options were either paid or bloated with unnecessary features that slowed down our platform. We decided to build LocalTime to give ourselves a lightweight, all-in-one solution for time conversion, session highlights, and custom price grids. Because it helped streamline our own chart setups so much, we decided to release it entirely for free to help the wider trading community.
LocalTime.club's answer:
The primary technologies used for building LocalTime are MQL4 (MetaQuotes Language 4) for the MetaTrader 4 version and MQL5 (MetaQuotes Language 5) for the MetaTrader 5 version.
