Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CodeFactor.io and BTAQA.

What makes your product unique?

BTAQA's answer:

Key features include: - Native Apple Wallet and Google Wallet integration - Custom design for the digital cards

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

BTAQA's answer:

BTAQA is the only loyalty card platform built Arabic-first for GCC markets. While competitors like Stamp Me or Loyverse are translated tools, BTAQA was designed from day one with RTL layouts, Arabic typography, and Gulf business practices in mind.Three key differentiators: Native Apple Wallet & Google Wallet integration โ€” Customers don't download another app. Their loyalty card lives in the wallet they already use daily.

Merchant Scanner App โ€” Staff scan customer QR codes from a dedicated iOS/Android app. No expensive hardware, no training needed.

Built for Arabic markets โ€” Proper RTL support, local payment processing (Mollie), and pricing in EUR that works for international businesses targeting GCC. Most loyalty platforms charge per transaction or take a percentage. BTAQA uses simple flat-rate monthly pricing (โ‚ฌ25-โ‚ฌ160/month) with no hidden fees.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

BTAQA's answer:

BTAQA serves small-to-medium businesses in service and retail sectors, primarily in GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait) and the broader Arabic-speaking market.Primary verticals:

Cafes & Coffee Shops โ€” High-frequency visits, perfect for stamp cards Restaurants โ€” Customer retention in competitive markets Salons & Barbershops โ€” Appointment-based businesses with repeat clients Retail Stores โ€” Fashion, accessories, specialty shops Clinics & Wellness โ€” Dental, physio, spa services Typical customer profile:

1-10 locations Looking to reduce paper card waste/fraud Wants customer data they can't get from paper cards Values Arabic language support Prefers simple setup without IT expertise

What's the story behind your product?

BTAQA's answer:

BTAQA ("ุจุทุงู‚ุฉ" โ€” Arabic for "card") started from a simple observation: every loyalty platform in the market was built for Western businesses and awkwardly translated for Arabic markets. The founder, operating from the Netherlands (808Studio), saw GCC businesses struggling with loyalty solutions that didn't respect Arabic text direction, used unfamiliar date formats, and required customers to download yet another app. The vision was clear: build a loyalty platform where Arabic is the foundation, not an afterthought. One where the customer experience is seamless โ€” a loyalty card that lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, always accessible, never forgotten at home. BTAQA launched in 2024, focusing on doing one thing exceptionally well: digital stamp cards that actually work for Arabic-speaking businesses and their customers.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

BTAQA's answer:

Answer: BTAQA is built on a modern, scalable tech stack: Frontend & Backend:

Next.js 14 (React framework with App Router) TypeScript for type-safe development Tailwind CSS for responsive, RTL-compatible styling

Database & Auth:

Supabase (PostgreSQL with Row Level Security) Supabase Auth for merchant authentication

Mobile:

Capacitor for cross-platform Scanner App (iOS & Android) Native Apple Wallet (PassKit/.pkpass generation) Native Google Wallet (Google Pay API)

Other:

Sharp for image processing QRCode for QR generation Zod for validation
