OhmNexus is an electrical engineering authority in progress: a platform of calculators, design tools, guides, and (eventually) professional engineering design services, organized around roughly 26 categories that map to real electrical engineering disciplines rather than a random grab-bag of tools.

What's live today covers unit conversions, wire/cable sizing, and battery calculators, all engineered to the actual standard (NEC/NFPA 70, IEC, IEEE) instead of a generic formula, with the underlying math shown on the page. That's the foundation, not the ceiling. The site is early in its build-out and is expanding category by category toward comprehensive coverage across the electrical engineering field, from beginner conversions to advanced design references.

No account required to use any calculator.

Analysis of Codeconfig.dev

Overall verdict

  • Codeconfig.dev appears to be a niche developer tool aimed at simplifying configuration management for coding projects, but without extensive independent reviews or a long track record, it's difficult to fully verify its quality, reliability, and long-term support. It may be a good fit for specific use cases, but users should evaluate it against established alternatives before committing to it for critical projects.

Why this product is good

  • Focuses specifically on code configuration, which can streamline setup for developers if it delivers on this promise.
  • Likely offers a simpler or more tailored interface compared to broader, more generic configuration tools.
  • Being a newer or niche tool, it may incorporate modern development practices and up-to-date approaches.
  • Potentially lower cost or free tier compared to established enterprise solutions, appealing to indie developers or small teams.

Recommended for

  • Individual developers or small teams looking for a lightweight configuration management solution.
  • Users experimenting with new tools who are comfortable with limited community support or documentation.
  • Projects where configuration needs are simple and don't require enterprise-level features.
  • Early adopters interested in testing emerging developer tools before they gain widespread traction.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Codeconfig.dev and OhmNexus.

What makes your product unique?

Codeconfig.dev's answer

Unlike other Dropbox plugins, File Manager for Dropbox gives you full control over your cloud storage without ever leaving WordPress. Whether you're a blogger, an eCommerce store owner, or managing an LMS, our plugin makes it easy to sync files automatically, integrate with the WordPress Media Library and more.

OhmNexus's answer:

It's built as a full electrical engineering authority, not a single-purpose calculator. Today that means conversions, wire/cable sizing, and battery calculators built to the actual standard (NEC/NFPA 70, IEC, IEEE) instead of a generic formula, with the math shown on the page rather than hidden. That's the early stage. The site is organized around roughly 26 categories mapping to real electrical engineering disciplines, and the roadmap runs into advanced design tools, in-depth guides, and eventually engineering design services, all built on the same standards-based approach from day one, working toward being a single reference point for the field rather than a scattered set of tools.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Codeconfig.dev's answer

We focus on making Dropbox integration ridiculously easy. A lot of similar plugins either lack flexibility, charge extra for basic features, or make setup complicated. Our plugin stands out because:

Super user-friendly: No coding required—just connect your Dropbox, and you’re good to go. Auto-sync in real time: New files update every 1-3 minutes automatically. Deep WordPress integration: Works with Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, and major LMS plugins. Powerful file management: Upload, download, embed, and share files directly from WordPress. Shortcode Builder: You can add file browsers, galleries, sliders, and media players anywhere on your site. Great for teams: User-specific folders keep files organized for different team members or customers.

OhmNexus's answer:

Most sites in this space are a grab-bag of unrelated calculators bolted together. OhmNexus is being built discipline by discipline, roughly 26 categories that map to real electrical engineering fields, so coverage in any one area is deep and consistent instead of scattered. Every tool checks against the actual standard (NEC/IEC/AS-NZS) instead of a shortcut formula, and the math is shown, not hidden. That same foundation carries forward as the site grows from calculators into design tools, guides, and engineering services.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Codeconfig.dev's answer

Our users are anyone who wants a hassle-free way to manage Dropbox files inside WordPress. This includes:

Website owners & bloggers – Easily add Dropbox media files to posts and pages. WooCommerce store owners – Manage digital downloads directly from Dropbox. Course creators (LMS users) – Store and share course materials with students. Photographers & creatives – Showcase images with Dropbox-powered galleries. Teams & agencies – Collaborate on projects with user-specific folders.

OhmNexus's answer:

Today: electricians and contractors doing load calcs and wire sizing in the field, electrical/electronics engineering students checking work against real standards, and makers/DIYers on solar, RV, and battery projects. As the platform fills out across its 26 disciplines with design tools and reference guides, that widens to practicing engineers and designers who need standards-checked numbers without opening a full design suite, plus anyone evaluating engineering design services down the line.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

OhmNexus's answer:

A modern static-site architecture built for speed, with hand-built calculation logic per tool rather than a shared, generic math library, and standard cloud CDN hosting for global performance.

What's the story behind your product?

OhmNexus's answer:

Electrical calculator sites online are almost all the same handful of unit converters repeated with different branding, none of them organized by discipline and none of them showing their formulas. OhmNexus started as an attempt to build the reference the field is actually missing: tools grouped by real electrical engineering categories, calculated to the actual standard instead of a shortcut, with the math visible on the page. It launched with the conversion and load-calculation basics built to that standard, and is being filled in from there toward guides, design tools, and eventually engineering design services.
