DesktopHeroBased on our record, DesktopHero seems to be a lot more popular than Code42. While we know about 28 links to DesktopHero, we've tracked only 1 mention of Code42. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
It's not a big surprise, given that Code42 (the parent company) pretends they have nothing to do with Crashplan. They've done a massive pivot to some kind of security company, with ZERO references to the OG product of Crashplan on code42.com, which (I'm guessing) is the bulk of their revenue. If you do a site search on google, you'll find some old links, but they just push you over to crashplan.com. Source: about 4 years ago
Aside from heroforge, there's also Desktop Hero and titanCraft and Anvl.co and desktophero3d.com and eldritch-foundry.com. Source: about 3 years ago
I used https://desktophero3d.com/ to make a base model using free assets and then I customized them, using parts of other models found on other sites or modeled them by myself. Source: over 3 years ago
Have you tried something like this: https://desktophero3d.com/, I can make out some corpo looking models [takes a bit of time, the UI for the app isn't the best] for zero cost and it has modern and scifi asset packs in the $25 range each for more options to work with. Looks like they are switching to https://titancraft.com/, so might be worth checking that out also. Source: over 3 years ago

Desktophero is free for .stl files but is somewhat limited. It also, naturally, does not come with any animations, just a static mesh. Source: almost 4 years ago
