NameQuick combines content-aware AI renaming, reusable naming Presets, folder monitoring, file organization, and content search in one desktop workflow on Windows and Mac. It reads more than 30 file formats, including scanned documents through built-in OCR. Users can choose a managed service with no API-key setup, bring their own OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or OpenRouter key, or run local models through Ollama, LM Studio, and MLX. Every rename is tracked and can be undone.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Choose NameQuick when filenames need to reflect what is actually inside each file, not only fixed text replacements or sequence numbers. It can rename different documents in the same batch with individually useful names, apply a consistent template, watch folders for new arrivals, and organize files with rules. It is a desktop app for Windows and Mac and supports managed, bring-your-own-key, and fully local AI workflows. Review mode and one-click undo keep users in control.

What's the story behind your product?

NameQuick's answer:

NameQuick was created to solve a common macOS problem: useful files arrive with names such as Scan0042.pdf, IMG2847.jpg, or finalFINALv3.pdf, then become difficult to find and file consistently. The product began as an AI-assisted renamer and grew into a complete local file workflow with naming Presets, OCR, watch folders, content search, organization rules, rename history, and multiple AI options. It is developed by Synthropy in the Netherlands.

NameQuick is a native desktop application for Windows and Mac. Its document pipeline supports more than 30 formats and includes OCR for scanned PDFs and images. AI processing can use NameQuick Managed, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, or local models through Ollama, LM Studio, and MLX. Managed traffic is encrypted with TLS and routed through servers in the European Union.
