Customs brokers are caught between three forces they can't control: importers who send incomplete, inconsistent data, filing requirements that change constantly, and increasing enforcement from CBP.

That squeeze forces a choice. Be thorough and you fall behind. Move fast and you cut corners. Want to grow? You hire more people to do more of the same manual work.

Tru eliminates the tradeoff. Our platform helps customs brokers and importer trade compliance offices audit, enrich, and prepare data for entry filing, so brokerages can grow fast, run compliance at scale, and file every entry with a complete audit trail. Licensed brokers stay in control. Tru handles everything else.

  • Limited Customization
While CloudShell provides many pre-installed tools, users have limited control over the environment compared to a locally managed development setup.

As a lesser-known identity verification platform, Tru Identity may have limited market adoption compared to more established identity verification competitors, which could affect trust and interoperability.
  • Data Privacy Concerns
Any platform handling sensitive identity information carries inherent privacy risks, and without extensive public audits or certifications, users may have concerns about how their data is stored and protected.
  • Integration Challenges
Organizations may face technical challenges when integrating Tru Identity into existing systems, especially if the platform lacks extensive documentation or established API support.
  • Dependency on Third-Party Service
Relying on Tru Identity for critical identity verification processes creates a dependency on a third-party provider, which could pose risks if the company faces service disruptions or business continuity issues.
