Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CloudShell and Moco the scribe.

What makes your product unique?

Moco the scribe's answer:

Built for Mental Health, Not Just Medicine Most AI scribes are made for general medicine. Moco is trained specifically for therapy and psychiatric sessionsโ€”capturing the flow, tone, and nuances of mental health conversations.

Structured, Not Just Transcribed Moco doesnโ€™t just spit out a transcript. It organizes key clinical information into clean, structured notes that are ready to copy into your EMRโ€”saving you time and mental load.

No Templates, No Prompts Needed Just press record. Moco works out of the box without requiring you to follow a script, speak unnaturally, or fill in rigid templates.

Fast, Private, and HIPAA-Compliant Notes are generated in minutes and stored securely. You stay in control of your data.

Created by a Clinician, Not Just Coders Moco was built by a former ER doctor who hated charting and knew therapists needed something betterโ€”so itโ€™s built to feel like a helpful assistant, not another tech burden.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Moco the scribe's answer:

Because Moco is designed specifically for mental health professionalsโ€”not just any clinician. While most AI scribes are built for primary care or generic medical visits, Moco understands the flow of therapy sessions and captures the subtle but critical details therapists care about.

You donโ€™t need to change how you speak, use a rigid template, or waste time fixing messy outputs. Moco delivers clean, structured notes that reflect your unique styleโ€”fast, securely, and with minimal effort.

In short: Moco feels like a real assistant, not another tool you have to manage.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Moco the scribe's answer:

Moco is built for licensed mental health professionals who see clients online or in person and want to save time on documentation without sacrificing quality. This includes:

Therapists (LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCs, psychologists)

Psychiatric nurse practitioners and psychiatrists

Clinics and group practices offering therapy, medication management, or both

Our users are often burned out by time-consuming charting, value client connection over admin work, and want a tool that just worksโ€”without a steep learning curve or extra friction.

What's the story behind your product?

Moco the scribe's answer:

Moco was born out of burnout.

Our founder, a board-certified emergency physician, spent over a decade in the ERโ€”and like many clinicians, she was drowning in documentation. When she transitioned to running a mental health clinic, she realized the problem was even worse for therapists. They were spending hours after sessions writing notes, sometimes until midnight. It wasnโ€™t just exhaustingโ€”it was pulling them away from what mattered most: their clients.

She teamed up with a trusted technical cofounder and built Moco: an AI scribe designed specifically for mental health. No templates. No prompts. No generic medical fluff. Just a smart assistant that listens, understands the nuances of therapy, and delivers clean, structured notesโ€”fast.

What started as a tool for their own clinic quickly caught the attention of other practices. Today, Moco helps therapists and psychiatrists across the country spend less time charting and more time caring.

Because at the end of the day, healing happens in the human connectionโ€”not in the EMR.
