CloudEndureBased on our record, CloudEndure should be more popular than SSHGuard. It has been mentiond 2 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
You can use cloudendure.com, bought some time ago by AWS to make it's technology free for any_to_AWS move, agent based that will copy bit-by-bit and you can test vm on the other side before final cut on source side... Source: over 4 years ago
That being said, I'd still vote for the rearchitecing part, at least to the level what you were describing. If you do decide to lift-and-shift tho, we just completed a big migration with CloudEndure and I can recommend it. Source: over 5 years ago
There are now better defensive tools (I use https://sshguard.net/); not that there are any accounts on this system that are vulnerable, but it does keep the relevant logfile from growing to astronomical size. Source: over 5 years ago

Fail2ban - Intrusion prevention framework
CrashPlan - Protect Your Data. Anytime. Anywhere.
Denyhosts - The idea of denying access to SSH servers is nothing new and I was inspired by many other scripts...
Backblaze - Backblaze's remote backup automatically backs up your data to our secure datacenter.
RdpGuard - RdpGuard allows you to protect your Remote Desktop (RDP), POP3, FTP, SMTP, IMAP, MSSQL, MySQL, VoIP/SIP from brute-force attacks by blocking attacker's IP address. Fail2Ban for Windows.
