Clearhavn is the calm, cross-platform alternative to MyCourtClerk, Alimentor 2, and the spreadsheet you've been keeping. Built specifically for family-law cases โ€” custody, support, protective orders โ€” not generic case management.

Where Alimentor 2 is iPhone-only and a one-time purchase, Clearhavn works on any device and syncs across web, iOS, and Android. Key features: โ€ข Event log with severity, location, and per-event evidence attachments โ€ข Issue tags (custody schedule, communication, school, medical) with pattern detection โ€ข Calendar of upcoming hearings, deadlines, exchanges โ€ข Witnesses, parties, children, and court orders in one workspace โ€ข Court-ready PDF chronology and full case-packet export (Pro) โ€ข Read-only attorney sharing โ€” invite by email, revoke anytime (Pro)

Free for one case. Pro is $12/month. Cancel anytime.

Analysis of Clearhavn

Overall verdict

  • I don't have reliable, verified information about Clearhavn (clearhavn.com) in my training data, so I can't confirm whether it's a legitimate or high-quality product/service. Before trusting or purchasing from this site, I'd recommend doing independent verification.

Why this product is good

  • I have no confirmed data on this specific domain's reputation, business practices, or user reviews
  • Unfamiliar or newer domains can sometimes be low-quality, scams, or simply lack an established track record
  • Without verified information, making a positive or negative claim would be speculative and potentially misleading

Recommended for

  • Not applicable - insufficient verified information to recommend this for any specific use case
  • If you're considering this site, check independent review platforms like Trustpilot, BBB, or Reddit
  • Verify company registration, contact information, and return/refund policies before purchasing
  • Look for secure payment indicators (HTTPS, trusted payment processors) and read recent customer reviews

Analysis of Code Flex

Overall verdict

  • I don't have verified, specific information about 'Code Flex' at codeflex.pages.dev, as it appears to be a lesser-known or newly launched site hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and I cannot confirm its legitimacy, content quality, or safety without direct access to browse and verify it.

Why this product is good

  • Cloudflare Pages (.pages.dev) is a free hosting platform, meaning this could be anyone's personal, hobby, or unfinished project rather than an established product
  • No verifiable reviews, reputation data, or track record exists in available knowledge to assess trustworthiness
  • The name suggests it may be a coding practice, tutorial, or developer tool site, but its actual purpose, features, and quality are unconfirmed
  • Sites on free hosting subdomains generally warrant extra caution regarding data privacy and content reliability until proven otherwise

Recommended for

  • Users should independently verify the site by checking for an About page, contact information, HTTPS security, and third-party reviews before use
  • Not recommended for entering sensitive personal or payment information without further verification
  • Best approached with caution until legitimacy and purpose are confirmed through direct inspection or trusted reviews

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Clearhavn and Code Flex.

What makes your product unique?

Clearhavn's answer

Clearhavn is built specifically for family-law cases โ€” custody, support, protective orders โ€” not generic case management.

  • Cross-platform: where Alimentor 2 is iPhone-only and a one-time purchase, Clearhavn syncs across web and iOS (Android in beta).
  • Calm UX: where MyCourtClerk's interface is heavier, Clearhavn stays focused on documentation.
  • Pattern detection: where a spreadsheet stops working at 50 events, Clearhavn tags events by issue and surfaces recurring patterns automatically โ€” eleven late pickups become visible as a pattern, not just three you happen to remember.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Clearhavn's answer

If you're preparing for a custody hearing or working with an attorney, you spend more time documenting than scheduling โ€” and existing tools either focus on co-parent communication (OurFamilyWizard, TalkingParents) or scheduling (Custody X Change). Clearhavn focuses on the documentation layer: events with linked evidence, witnesses, court orders, and a one-click court-ready chronology PDF.

  • Price: $12/month vs $40/month for MyCourtClerk.
  • Platform: web + iOS + Android, not iPhone-only like Alimentor 2.
  • Free plan: covers one case forever, so you can try the full documentation flow before paying anything.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Clearhavn's answer

Primary audience: self-represented parents preparing for custody, support, or protective-order hearings โ€” people who need a court-ready record but can't justify $40-100/month per parent.

Secondary audience: parents working with a family-law attorney who want to show up to meetings organized instead of emailing 47 unsorted screenshots. Pro plans include read-only attorney sharing so counsel can review the case on their own time.

What's the story behind your product?

Clearhavn's answer

Ryan Marshall built Clearhavn after going through his own family-law case and realizing the existing tools fell into three buckets: spreadsheets that fell apart at 50 events, iPhone-only apps stuck in a one-time-purchase model from a decade ago, or enterprise legal software priced for law firms. There wasn't a calm, modern, cross-platform tool built for the parent โ€” just for the lawyer or the time tracker.

Clearhavn is what he needed at 11 PM on a Sunday trying to assemble a chronology before a Wednesday hearing. It's now used by self-represented parents and clients of family-law attorneys to organize their case into a clear, court-ready record.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Clearhavn's answer

  • Web: Next.js 15 (App Router) with TypeScript, deployed on Vercel with Cloudflare DNS.
  • Mobile: native iOS app built with Expo (React Native), sharing a custom HMAC-signed bearer-token API with the web backend.
  • Data: Neon Postgres with Drizzle ORM. Cloudflare R2 for evidence file storage.
  • Auth & billing: Auth.js v5 for web sessions. Stripe for subscriptions.
  • Infrastructure: Resend + React Email for transactional and onboarding mail, Sentry for error monitoring, Plausible for cookieless analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile for signup CAPTCHA.
