   So I’ve been playing around with Claude for a bit, and here’s the vibe:

   Honestly, it feels way more chill than a lot of other AI tools. It’s super polite, doesn’t jump into assumptions too fast, and gives responses that are easy to read like talking to a thoughtful friend rather than someone in a hurry. It’s surprisingly good at breaking down complex stuff into simple terms without sounding condescending, which I really appreciate.

   In terms of creativity, Claude does pretty well — whether I ask for a poem, a short story, or help brainstorming ideas, it doesn’t just give cookie-cutter replies. There’s a bit of personality there, like it tries to make things interesting rather than just factual.

   On the downside? Sometimes it plays it a bit too safe. If you push for a bold opinion or a more adventurous answer, it’ll often stay in the middle-of-the-road lane. And for niche topics, it’s not always as sharp as some other models unless you give super clear instructions.

   Also, it’s fast no long pauses or overcomplicated explanations which makes it nice for quick back-and-forth.

   Claude Sonnet 3.5 is amazing for coding! I used to use the chat interface and copy-paste, but now I use aider.chat. Aider works in a git repo and forces Claude to only make the changes you requested. Changes are easy to revert.

   A downside: Code is not always what I want. I try to make it do work in small chunks and this helps. Excels at writing boilerplate-y code that tends to be a little different on different websites.

   Two helpful styles of prompts:

   1. "Make this better", "Make it look better", etc. - Will optimize code, make it DRY, improve HTML/CSS styling in templates, and more.
   2. "What are my options?" - Helpful if you're not an expert in something or need to brainstorm.

   Using it for Python/Django/HTMX/AlpineJS. Django templates mixed with JS are no problem.

  Looperman is decent, but most loops and samples are made by randoms and these randoms sometimes require you to credit or ask that you buy a licence off them if you gonna publish, and some dont. it's listed what is required on each sample, but sometime's these randoms get clever and post stuff they do not own and dont even tell you about it so be carefull, if it sounds familiar, it probably is. • Looking for feedback on this mix

  So, to add some context. This is a hip hop song. The vocal is an acapella from looperman.com. I honestly enjoy and like the song, but I feel the mix needs some sort of "air" to it. My biggest struggle is with mixing the bass. I also struggled a bit with eqing the synths. I have several versions of this song mixed, but felt like this version is the best I have done so far. I felt I had plateaued for a long time, what got me a bit further at one point was learning piano- I can play them simultaneously somewhat, but it also gives me a backing track over which I can record myself playing harmonica, so I can make little instrumentals and songs, or perhaps playing with others, or if you don't want to make your own backing tracks/invest in learning a new instrument,...
