DecTrack is a team decision-making platform that brings structure and transparency to how teams decide. Instead of losing decisions in chat threads, emails, and meetings, teams use DecTrack to define options, evaluate them with pros/cons, SWOT analysis, or weighted scoring matrices, and vote together in a structured process. Key features: flexible voting modes, optional approver sign-off for critical decisions, team and project organization, role-based permissions, and full decision documentation. Every decision is captured with its outcome and context, so months later it's still clear what was decided, why, and by whom. Built for startups and cross-functional teams who want clarity instead of chaos. Currently free during Early Access with full feature access. No credit card required.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Claritrix and DecTrack.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Claritrix's answer

Claritrix is built for speed and clarity rather than enterprise complexity:

  • 18 ready-made templates across business & finance, vendor & procurement, and HR & People — start scoring in seconds instead of building a framework from scratch
  • No signup, no data sent to a server
  • One-time purchase with lifetime access — no recurring subscription
  • Polished PDF, Excel, and CSV exports ready to share with stakeholders

What makes your product unique?

Claritrix's answer

Claritrix turns subjective decisions into defensible, numbered outcomes:

  • Set your own criteria and weights, score each option, and get an instant ranked winner.
  • A full score breakdown shows exactly how each option scored on every criterion.
  • Runs entirely in the browser — no account, no server, no data leaving your device
  • One-time purchase with lifetime access, not a subscription

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Claritrix's answer

Consultants, procurement teams, HR professionals, and finance teams who need to make and justify decisions — vendor selection, hiring, budget comparisons, investment evaluation — with numbers that hold up under scrutiny, not just a confident guess.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Claritrix's answer

  • React 18 with Tailwind CSS for the frontend
  • Recharts for results visualisation
  • jsPDF with jspdf-autotable for PDF report generation
  • No backend, API, or database — fully client-side, deployed on Cloudflare Pages
  • Plausible.io for privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics

What's the story behind your product?

Claritrix's answer

Claritrix started from a real problem: making an important decision between multiple options and needing to present that decision formally — but finding no good way to do it.

The available tools fell into two camps. Spreadsheets could hold the numbers but produced nothing presentable to hand to a client or leadership team. And AI-generated recommendations, while fast, weren't reliably accurate enough to stake a real decision on — a weighted scorecard needs to be defensible, not just plausible.

Claritrix was built to close that gap — a tool grounded in a transparent, calculable method rather than a black box, producing a report professional enough to actually submit. Every score is visible, every weight is adjustable, and the math behind the final ranking is shown in full — so the result isn't just an answer, it's evidence you can stand behind.
