Cipi.sh's answer
Cipi was created by Andrea Pollastri, a software developer since 2005 specialising in Laravel, system administration, and cybersecurity โ with experience at companies like Docebo and Musement. He built Cipi out of a practical need: a fast, scriptable way to provision and deploy Laravel applications on his own VPS, without handing control to a SaaS panel. Laravel-first open-source CLI with AI and MCP integration โ also static sites and generic PHP apps. One command installs a complete production stack. One command creates an isolated app with its own database, workers, SSL, and zero-downtime deploys. Open Source.
Prepare the fireworks for 2021.

I remember reading The Twelve-Factor App [1] from the Heroku folks back in the day, and was blown away by how well they understood the problem. Not only that but they had great taste. I moved things to Render a while back, and then to my own Hetzner server (I built kind of an open source Vercel clone for that reason [2]). I'm not quite sure any of these platforms are going to be relevant 5 years from now when you... - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
