• Apple officially unveils AirTag item tracker

  So they’re also allowing 3rd party to use findmy features and app, for example chipolo appears to operate just like an AirTag, but cheaper, I can’t tell if there are any feature disadvantages to the chipolo version 🤔. Source: over 5 years ago
