Panelry is a food labeling tool for people who make and sell food themselves: home bakers, jam and hot sauce producers, granola and candy makers, anyone running a cottage food business.

The free tier covers what a cottage seller legally needs on a package. Enter your recipe by weight and Panelry orders the ingredient statement correctly, detects the FDA Big 9 allergens and writes the Contains line, and formats the net weight in both US and metric. The cottage label tool opens in the browser without an account.

A finished FDA Nutrition Facts panel costs $9 once. That unlocks one print-ready panel, calculated from USDA FoodData Central, which covers about 380,000 foods. Pro is $12 a month or $99 a year for unlimited panels, all four FDA panel formats including dual-column, and unlimited saved recipes.

Declared values follow the rounding rules in 21 CFR 101.9(c) and serving sizes come from the reference amounts in 21 CFR 101.12, so the panel you export is the one the regulation asks for rather than an approximation of it.

Panelry also publishes cottage food label requirements for all 50 states and DC, each with a sample label you can copy, and guides covering net weight statements, allergen declarations, serving sizes, label typography and FDA rounding.

The pricing exists because the alternatives are priced for companies rather than makers. ReciPal is $29 a recipe or $49 a month, LabelCalc runs around $225 a label, and Food Label Maker is around $299 a year. Someone selling three products at a farmers market should not need a subscription to label them legally.

Panelry runs in any browser. It is a labeling tool and not legal advice, so labels should be checked against current FDA rules and your own state's cottage food law before you print.
