Every couple of years, I have to do background checks on everyone that I am working with for a contract. We usually use CheckR (they were Goodhire until they were bought out). It costs a couple of hundred dollars and we get a printout that is accepted by the agency. It's more than just the State Patrol that we are sweeping. Source: about 3 years ago
