Most coding agents assume you're at your laptop. ChatView assumes you're not.

ChatView is a mobile + web companion for Cursor and VS Code. The flow is simple:

Install the ChatView extension in Cursor or VS Code on your laptop. Open the ChatView mobile app (iOS / Android) or chat-view.xyz on any device. Scan the pairing QR shown by the extension. Prompt the coding agent from your phone. Your laptop runs the agent. Your phone shows the conversation, the diffs, and the approve/reject buttons. Everything happens on your machine using your existing Cursor model config — we don't proxy your code or tokens through our servers, and we don't bill you for inference. Your Anthropic / OpenAI / local-model keys stay where they are.

Why it exists: I wanted to fix a bug while waiting in line for coffee. My laptop was at home running Cursor. ChatView is what I built so I could prompt it from my phone, see the diff, approve it, and have the fix land before I sat down.
