CertShield verifies the parts that actually protect you — additional-insured endorsement forms (CG 20 10 / CG 20 37) and waiver of subrogation wording — and pairs AI speed with human review: every uncertain result is verified by a person before it's published, and the customer always gives the final sign-off. We're also honest about limits: no tool can auto-detect a silent mid-term cancellation, so we mitigate it with agent confirmations instead of overclaiming.

What's the story behind your product?

CertShield started with a simple observation: a single uninsured vendor can turn into a six-figure lawsuit for a property manager, yet most small firms track insurance certificates in spreadsheets where expirations slip through and endorsements get missed. Enterprise tools existed but priced out everyone below the mid-market. As a solo technical founder, I built CertShield to give smaller firms the same protection — AI does the reading, a human verifies the results, and the price fits an SMB budget.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, Postgres for data, and Anthropic's Claude for AI document extraction — with per-field confidence scoring and a human review queue on top. US-hosted, encrypted in transit and at rest.
