As founder and developer I have built many web services. They are hosted on different platforms depending on my needs. This means I have different SSL certificates all over the place issued by various vendors and keeping track of when they expire was a nightmare. You have to do your own optimiser to avoid, for instance, the N+1 query problem. (Just Google that, plenty of explanations around.) Many GraphQL frameworks have a โnaiveโ subquery implementation that performs N individual subqueries.
