CertifyALot is a bulk certificate generation tool built specifically for trainers and coaching institutes who issue certificates batch after batch. Most trainers today are stuck doing this manually โ€” opening Canva, typing each student name one by one, exporting individual PDFs, renaming files, and repeating the process for 50 to 150 students after every single batch. It takes 3 to 4 hours of admin work that should take minutes. CertifyALot solves this in four steps. Upload your existing certificate design as a PNG or JPG โ€” no redesign needed, no forced templates. Upload your student list from Excel or CSV โ€” fields are auto-mapped from your column headers. Preview 5 sample certificates with real student names before generating anything โ€” catch mistakes before they cost you. Then generate the full batch in one go and receive a ZIP file with every certificate delivered to your email. 100 certificates in under 5 minutes. What makes CertifyALot different: โ€” Bring your own certificate design. No lock-in to our templates. โ€” Preview before you generate. No surprises, no redoing the entire batch. โ€” No subscription. Pay only for certificates you successfully generate. โ€” Credits never expire. Buy when you need them, use them anytime. โ€” Student data is never stored after generation. Privacy first. โ€” Works for any batch size โ€” 10 students or 500 students, same simple workflow. Who it is built for: Independent trainers, spoken English coaches, soft skills and personality development trainers, yoga and fitness certification institutes, POSH trainers, digital marketing bootcamps, corporate workshop hosts, and any small training institute issuing certificates regularly. Free trial includes 100 certificates with no credit card required. Full workflow โ€” upload, preview, generate, download. See the difference in your first batch.

CommitCat features and specs

  • Simplified Git Interface
CommitCat aims to provide a user-friendly graphical interface for Git, making version control more accessible to developers who may find the command line intimidating or cumbersome.
  • Free and Open Source
CommitCat is offered as a free tool, lowering the barrier to entry for individuals and small teams who need a Git client without the cost associated with some commercial alternatives.
  • Cross-Platform Support
CommitCat is designed to work across multiple operating systems, allowing developers on different platforms to use the same familiar tool for their version control needs.
  • Beginner-Friendly
The tool is positioned to help newcomers to Git and version control by providing a more visual and intuitive way to manage repositories, commits, and branches without needing deep command-line expertise.
  • Lightweight Application
CommitCat is designed to be a lightweight Git client that doesn't consume excessive system resources, making it suitable for developers who prefer a lean, fast tool over feature-heavy alternatives.

Possible disadvantages of CommitCat

  • Limited Feature Set
Compared to more established Git clients like GitKraken, Sourcetree, or Fork, CommitCat may lack advanced features such as built-in merge conflict resolution tools, advanced branch visualization, or deep integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Small Community and Ecosystem
As a lesser-known tool, CommitCat has a smaller user community, which means fewer tutorials, community-driven plugins, and peer support compared to mainstream Git clients.
  • Limited Visibility and Traction
CommitCat appears to have limited online presence and user reviews, making it difficult for potential users to assess its reliability, maturity, and long-term viability before adopting it.
  • Uncertain Development Activity
It is unclear how actively CommitCat is being maintained and developed. A tool with infrequent updates may fall behind in compatibility with newer Git features or operating system updates.
  • Lack of Enterprise Features
CommitCat may not offer enterprise-grade features such as team collaboration tools, access control integrations, or support for large-scale repository management that organizations often require.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CertifyALot and CommitCat.

What makes your product unique?

CertifyALot's answer

CertifyALot is the only bulk certificate tool built specifically for how trainers actually work. Three things make it different โ€” you bring your own certificate design instead of being forced into templates, you preview 5 real sample certificates before generating the full batch so mistakes are caught early, and there is no subscription โ€” credits never expire and you pay only for certificates successfully generated. No other tool in this space combines all three.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

CertifyALot's answer

Most certificate tools are either too generic or too expensive for independent trainers. Canva and Word require manual copy-paste for every student. Accredible and Certifier charge monthly subscriptions that make no sense for trainers who run 4-6 batches a year. CertifyALot is purpose-built for batch-based certificate workflows โ€” upload your existing design, upload your student list, preview samples, generate everything in one go, download as ZIP. 100 certificates in under 5 minutes. Pay only when you generate. No lock-in, no redesign, no recurring fees.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

CertifyALot's answer

Independent trainers and small coaching institutes in India who run regular training batches and issue certificates to students. This includes spoken English trainers, soft skills and personality development coaches, yoga and fitness instructors, POSH trainers, digital marketing bootcamps, and corporate workshop hosts. Anyone who issues certificates batch after batch and is currently doing it manually in Canva, Word, or Google Slides.

What's the story behind your product?

CertifyALot's answer

We kept seeing the same painful pattern repeat itself across trainers in India. Batch ends on Friday. Students start asking for their certificates by Saturday. Trainer is still up on Sunday night typing names into Canva one by one, exporting PDFs, renaming files, sending individually. For 80, 100, sometimes 150 students. Every single batch. The tools existed โ€” Canva, Word mail merge, Google Slides โ€” but none of them were built for this workflow. They were workarounds that broke the moment you had 50 students or made one mistake. We built CertifyALot because this problem was too specific, too repetitive, and too solvable to ignore. Trainers should spend their time training โ€” not doing certificate admin.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

CertifyALot's answer

CertifyALot is built as a web application. The platform uses modern frontend and backend technologies to handle certificate design uploads, student list processing, field mapping, bulk PDF generation, and secure ZIP delivery via email. Authentication is handled via Google OAuth and magic link login. Built and hosted on cloud infrastructure with privacy-first data handling โ€” student details are never stored after certificate generation is complete.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

CertifyALot's answer

Independent trainers running spoken English and communication skills batches Yoga and fitness certification institutes Soft skills and personality development trainers POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) certified trainers Digital marketing and coding bootcamp instructors Small corporate training and coaching institutes
