I built certdecoder.com over the weekend for my own needs. Sometimes in my work, I need to verify and check certificate details.

Incognear was built out of frustration with modern social media. Platforms became global, permanent, algorithm-driven, and increasingly performative. Local conversations got buried under influencer content and engagement-driven feeds.

Incognear’s primary audience is Gen Z and young millennials (18–30) who live in dense, social environments especially:

• College and university campuses

• PGs / hostels

• Urban neighborhoods

• Co-living spaces

They’re digitally native, but increasingly tired of algorithm-heavy, performative social media. They want:

• Real-time local updates

• Low-pressure posting

• Honest conversations without real-name exposure

A sense of “what’s happening around me right now”

In short: socially active, location-aware young adults who value immediacy over influence and vibe over virality.

Simple, fast, and reliable. Some similar tools can’t even decode basic certificates. I rigorously tested my tool with many real-world certificates and covered several edge cases where competitors fall short.
