Causr is a project accountability platform built for delivery teams that need visibility into the conversations, decisions, risks and blockers that determine whether projects stay on track.
Traditional project management tools excel at tracking tasks, timelines and resources, but they often miss the operational context behind delivery. Decisions are buried in meeting notes, risks sit untouched in RAID logs, blockers disappear into chat threads, and dependencies become difficult to follow as projects grow.
Causr brings these critical project elements together in one place.
Capture decisions, risks, blockers and dependencies as they happen, assign clear ownership, connect them to milestones, and follow their impact across the project. Stakeholder views make it easy to see who owns what, while visual dependency mapping helps teams understand how one unresolved issue can affect multiple deliverables.
Whether you're running software implementations, digital transformation programmes, client delivery projects or internal initiatives, Causr helps project managers move beyond documentation and towards active accountability.
Key features include:
โข Decision tracking with ownership and due dates โข Modern RAID management for risks and blockers โข Dependency and impact visualisation โข Stakeholder accountability views โข Milestone-focused project oversight โข AI-assisted capture from meetings and project discussions โข Searchable project history and audit trail
Causr is designed for project managers, programme managers, PMOs and delivery leads who want to spend less time chasing updates and more time delivering successful projects.

Independent/Fractional Project Managers
Causr's answer
Most project management tools track tasks. Causr tracks the conversations, decisions, risks, blockers and dependencies that determine whether those tasks are delivered. It keeps project accountability visible instead of buried in spreadsheets, meeting notes and chat threads.
Causr's answer
Causr focuses on project governance rather than task management. It helps delivery teams identify hidden risks, assign ownership and understand how unresolved issues impact project milestones.
Causr's answer
Causr is built for Project Managers, Programme Managers, PMOs, Delivery Managers and Product Managers responsible for delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Causr's answer
Causr was created after seeing and experiencing the same problem across countless projects: decisions, risks and blockers were documented, but rarely followed through. The goal was to build a platform that makes project accountability impossible to lose. Built for Project Managers, by Project Managers.

CouchDB has a "List function" feature which allows you to transform query results. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
CouchDB on the serer and PouchDB on the client was an attempt at making such an environment: - https://couchdb.apache.org/ - https://pouchdb.com/ Also some more pondering on local-first application development from a "few" (~10) years back can be found here: https://unhosted.org/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
The author would be excited to learn that CouchDB solves this problem since 20 years. The use case the article describes is exactly the idea behind CouchDB: a database that is at the same time the server, and that's made to be synced with the client. You can even put your frontend code into it and it will happily serve it (aka CouchApp). https://couchdb.apache.org. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
That was my first thought! https://couchdb.apache.org/ is pretty good though is it still the incremental views with JS? - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
In this post, I'll show how to simulate a multi-master synchronization with Apache CouchDB considering an off-line scenario. To reach this goal, I'll use Docker and Docker compose. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
