As the name of the service says it will work best with Laravel but it is not a problem to modify code from other frameworks to make it work the same way. I never personally ran into the issues with those 2 programs, but just know there was real evidence given that it happened. I don't remember the details. If you want to know bad enough, you can search online and find it. You might find most if not all in discussions at spiceworks.com, but I can't be for certain at the moment.
