As the name of the service says it will work best with Laravel but it is not a problem to modify code from other frameworks to make it work the same way. We had a few years of Angular with jQuery and before that it was very much jQuery. Jquery was loved because it provided a common and good API across web browsers. Some people use backbone js but that was rare.
