Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CABVIX and RackMonkey.

What makes your product unique?

CABVIX's answer

CABVIX is built around the physical layer: the rack, the patch leads and the wall outlets. Most IT documentation tools treat that as an afterthought. In CABVIX every device sits in its RU, front and rear. Every patch lead has its ports, colour and length, and every wall outlet traces back to the switch port it lands on. From that one record it draws the rack in 3D, lays out the comms room to scale and prints QR labels for racks, devices and outlets. It can also send a picture-by-picture "guided fix" link to someone on site, who doesn't need an account to follow it.
