BuildBase is a multi-tenant SaaS backend delivered as a single npm install (@buildbase/sdk). It replaces the usual stitched stack of Clerk + Stripe + Supabase + Customer.io + a workflow engine with one SDK, one dashboard, and one bill.
19 integrated modules: Authentication, Stripe subscriptions and billing, usage-based metering with quotas and overages, workspaces and organizations, granular RBAC, visual workflow automation, email campaigns, push notifications, Slack notifications, feature flags, headless CMS, forms, webhooks, short links, analytics, collections, asset storage, user and audience management, and a credits system.
Authentication methods: Email/password, magic link, passkey (WebAuthn), Google, LinkedIn, GitHub, Microsoft, plus OAuth 2.0 authorization server support (BYO client credentials).

Usage-based billing is built-in, not bolted on. Meter any event server-side, client-side, or in batch. Set quotas per plan. Overages auto-bill to Stripe. Gate React UI with . Two brothers building SaaS products got tired of stitching the same backend together every time.
Every new product meant wiring Clerk for auth, Stripe for billing, Customer.io for lifecycle emails, Lago or a hand-rolled meter for usage-based pricing, a workflow engine for onboarding, an email campaign tool, and a notification system. Every stack cost $500+/mo, five dashboards, and weeks of glue code that had nothing to do with the actual product.
So they built the shared backend they wished existed and used it to launch five of their own SaaS products: PlugNode (visual AI workflow builder), AgentCenter (mission control for AI agents), Imejis (image generation API), RemoteWait (virtual queue for salons and clinics), and LinkTracer (creator analytics).
BuildBase is that shared backend, now available as one npm install. The five dogfood products still run on it in production - which means every feature has been battle-tested against real paying customers before it ships to yours.

BuildBase is in the early customer stage. Rather than list logos we don't have, here's the real proof: we run five of our own live SaaS products on BuildBase in production.
Each one uses a different part of the platform. PlugNode stress-tests usage-based billing and multi-currency. AgentCenter runs on the subscription tier system.
