  I put a Hasu controller[1] in my Leopold F660C (Topre switches) and couldn't be happier. Though it voids the warranty, installation was very easy and it allows total control of the keymap via TMK.   I was wondering if it'd be possible to go further, and actually use it as a fully fledged keyboard, but with your choice of switches and mechanical layout... And turns out that somebody has been doing that already! Basically reverse-engineering the matrix and hooking up your own switches to the logic board.
