Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing BrewPage and Hostinger.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

BrewPage's answer

  • Individual developers and indie hackers sharing HTML/Markdown demos and snippets
  • AI-agent builders using the MCP server with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue.dev, and Windsurf
  • Early-stage open-source projects publishing lightweight docs and artifact URLs

(BrewPage launched publicly in 2026-03 and does not yet publish a named-customer list. The above describes active user segments. Feel free to leave this field blank if SaaSHub rejects without specific named logos — it's a common honest answer for newer SaaS.)

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

BrewPage's answer

  • Backend: Kotlin, Spring Boot 4, Spring MVC (webmvc), JDBC Template
  • Database: PostgreSQL 18
  • Object storage: MinIO (S3-compatible)
  • Reverse proxy / TLS: Caddy
  • Frontend: vanilla HTML/CSS/JS (no framework), served via Caddy Alpine
  • Build: Gradle (Kotlin DSL), version catalog (libs.versions.toml)
  • Testing: JUnit 5, AssertJ, Testcontainers, Playwright (UI E2E)
  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Promtail, cAdvisor
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GHCR container registry
  • Deploy: Docker Compose on a single Contabo VPS
  • Integrations: Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in TypeScript, published to npm

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

BrewPage's answer

Developers, AI-agent builders, and technical writers who need a frictionless way to share or publish content without standing up a backend or creating an account. Core segments:
- AI/ML engineers wiring agents that need to publish artifacts (Claude, LangChain, LlamaIndex users)
- Developers sharing quick demos, code samples, HTML/Markdown drafts, or JSON fixtures
- Technical teams publishing lightweight internal docs or runbooks without spinning up a CMS
- Indie hackers and hobbyists who want a permanent URL for a one-off page in under 10 seconds
- Open-source maintainers who prefer self-hostable tooling with a free SaaS fallback

What's the story behind your product?

BrewPage's answer

BrewPage started in early 2026 out of a simple frustration: every time an AI agent — Claude, GPT, or a LangChain tool — produced a useful HTML or Markdown artifact, there was nowhere to put it. Gists required GitHub accounts. Pastebin mangled formatting. S3 buckets took minutes to configure. The founders, long-time backend engineers, wanted a tool that fit the modern AI-agent workflow: a single REST call, no auth, instant public URL, and a companion MCP server so agents could publish natively.

The project is open-source (MIT, Kotlin + Spring Boot backend, static-site Caddy frontend) and runs on a single Contabo VPS with Postgres, MinIO, and a shared Caddy reverse proxy. The free tier is intentionally generous — 5 MB HTML, 20 MB multi-file sites, 60 uploads/hour per IP — so hobbyists and agents
never hit paywalls.

What makes your product unique?

BrewPage's answer

Zero-signup, AI-native hosting. BrewPage is one of the few sharing services that ships both a REST API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, making it directly callable from Claude Desktop, Cursor, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Continue.dev and other AI agents. No account, no API key, no CAPTCHA — an agent or a human posts content and gets back a permanent HTTPS URL in one round-trip. Multi-format first-class support: HTML, Markdown, JSON, binary files, and full multi-file static sites (ZIP upload) under the same API surface.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

BrewPage's answer

  • No signup ever — Pastebin, GitHub Gist, and most competitors require an account for full features
  • Unified API for HTML, Markdown, JSON, files, and multi-file sites — most rivals cover only one
  • Native AI-agent integration via MCP + OpenAPI 3.1 spec — unique in the pastebin/file-sharing space
  • Self-hostable (Docker, MIT license) — zero vendor lock-in
  • Permanent HTTPS links with optional password protection and configurable TTL (15–30 days)
  • Full CSP security hardening, per-content OG preview images, owner tokens for post-publish editing
  • Open source, OpenAPI-documented, free forever for core functionality
